We design all our sites in raw html code. What does that mean? It means that the end product we give you is compatible with 99% of the browsers out there. It also means that if you want to modify the site on your own, you can -- with whatever editor you wish. Since we don't use a proprietary website editor, you are free to use the editor you are most comfortable with. Also, since raw html coded sites are not overloaded with useless tags that visual editors tend to add, your site will load faster, which is of utmost importance to us.

If you have looked at other website designer sites, you will notice that prices are usually not given up front. That's because costs can vary depending on the number of things you want to do with your site. But we do want you to know how much you can expect to pay for designing your site. We feel the fairest way to charge our clients is by the hour, so you get exactly what you pay for and can manage how much your site design will cost beforehand. Our rate sheet for design is very simple:

Hosting w/ EdgeWorld: $50.00 per hour
Hosting w/ another company: $65.00 per hour

That rate is the same whether it's html coding, cgi programming, art design or scanning. Be aware that some things take longer than others, to code in cgi or javascript takes more time than writing html because of the testing involved. But we will give you an estimate of that before you decide.

So what could your job cost? Roughly, a simple page with a few graphics and some text (already provided by the client) takes about 15-30 minutes to do. So a 10-page site can take anywhere from 1.5 to 3 hours, ranging from $75 to $150. Some of our bigger jobs have taken over 20 hours, putting the cost at about $1000.
